4/5 - All practice will continue to be a Village Pool until further notice
MS Swim Meet – 4/17/21
Location: Highland Lakes YMCA – Burnet, TX
Transportation: If your swimmer would like to ride the bus Coach Basso will be leaving at 8:15 AM from Gateway. You are also welcome to drive your swimmer. If you choose to drive your swimmer, please arrive at the YMCA by 9:15 AM. Estimated return time to Gateway is 1:30 PM.
Send your swimmer with water and snacks/lunch.

Practice Updates 3/23
NO PRACTICE WED. AND FRIDAY THIS WEEK (3/24 & 3/26)
All HS and MS practices are at the Village Pool from 2:30-3:30PM
HS Boys will swim on A day (T/TH) and HS Girls will swim on B day (W/F) with the alternating Monday. MS is on campus every Monday.
We will continue practicing at Village until March 31st (tentative) then returning to the REC. A/B day schedule will remain the same.
April
No Practice 4/1, 4/2, 4/5

Last day of swim practice 4/29 (boys), 4/30 (girls)
May
On campus dryland - remote students will be allowed to come up for dryland
Dryland will be on Monday-Thurs. Friday is a study hall day. All athletes are expected to attend M-Th dryland.

- Mondays are still study halls days on campus
- On campus students ride bus to pool
- remote students need to be brought to pool by 2:25PM

Lauren Chaney sent her verbal commitment to continue her swimming career at The University of Houston! Houston is ranked among some of the top college swimming programs in the country and has been champions of the American Athletic Conference the past 4 seasons.

The Spirit Committee will put together snack bags for the meets and brainstorm other fun ideas to support our Gator swimmers and coaches. Any and all ideas are welcome (even if you are unable to help with the Spirit Committee)!
